religious icons were originated in the very early centuries of Christianity. The great schism i.e. the Eastern Church and the western church happened much after that. Earlier the paintings of Christ, Mary, saints and angels were considered icons of Christianity and now the society is now witnessing new Christian icons and they are taken as windows into eternity by young generation. This move is a constructive beginning to annex the gadget freaks youngsters with their great past and human values.
